The Cheyne Walk Trust are launching a painting competition in collaboration with the Heatherley School of Fine Art. To celebrate its connection with the Chelsea riverside the Trust is offering 2 prizes of £500 for works depicting the stretch of the Thames between the Chelsea Bridge and Battersea Rail/Cremorne Bridge.
Original work should be submitted in oil, acrylic, watercolour, gouache or print media and entry forms must be returned by the 15 March 2010. The prize-giving and reception will be held at The Heatherley School of Fine Art on 22 April 2010. Proceeds from the event will go towards funding a young person's bursary at the school.
